BUSINESS ETHICS
Kinetics Arabia adheres to national regulations in all markets in which we operate. Over and above national regulations, we have also made a choice to follow international best practices and continue maintaining our regional leadership position.
Our Corporate Compliance mission is to serve the best interests of the business, customers, and stakeholders by promoting an organizational culture committed to integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance with the law.
We do this by establishing standards, policies and procedures to ensure that Kinetics Arabia achieves strategic and operational objectives that are highly consistent with its compliance obligations.
CODES OF CONDUCT
At Kinetics Arabia, it is our concern to create great moments for everyone every single day through following an ethical corporate compliance approach.
Our Code of Conduct serves the interests of our employees, customers and other stakeholders by promoting an organizational culture committed to integrity, ethical conduct and compliance with the law.
The Code of Conduct provides clear guidance on how we work with each other, our suppliers and our customers.
There are several ways in which Code of Conduct breaches can be raised through:
- Speak to your manager
- Speak to a member of your Operating Company’s Ethics Panel or Chief Compliance Officer
- Contact the Ethics Hotline (via phone or email)
Any conversations you have with a manager, whether its through an Ethics Panel or via the Ethics Hotline are treated with absolute confidentiality. We operate a zero tolerance policy in respect to breaching that confidentiality.
THE PRINCIPLES
- Policies and local regulations must be followed at all times.
- Respect cultural norms and ensure that the gesture is appropriate to the situation and recipient’s position.
- Openness at all times to avoid conflicts of interest or misinterpretation.
- Adhere to established thresholds and seek approvals for the exchange, where and when required.
- Every exchange of gifts from government entities must be registered despite of the value.
- Cash, cash equivalents or vouchers must neither be accepted nor exchanged.
- Transparency and documentation are key procedures to ensure correct decision-making.
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
Using ISO 9001 in Kinetics Arabia, helps us ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in return brings many business benefits.
ISO 45001:2018 HSE POLICIES
Kinetics Arabia Company recognizes the importance of a good health and safety planning prior to the commencement of project works, as an attempt to avoid any possible injuries or endanger the health and safety of all personnel involved in the project. To realize our objectives, Kinetics Arabia prepared the following statements that constitute a safety plan.
Kinetics Arabia intends to manage, control and coordinate the works in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of all personnel engaged in the project and others who may be affected by the operations.
The following statements aim to provide a plan of Kinetics Arabia Management, monitoring systems and measurements to ensure the safe operation of work through the contract period.
Kinetics Arabia understands the contractor’s efforts in ensuring high standards of safety and health performance amongst its projects. Kinetics Arabia will ensure that the same scenario is adopted and maintained through the contract period with the highest priority.
Kinetics Arabia will also ensure that all project work confirms the safety standard as required by the main contractors
- Kinetics Arabia provides safe and healthy working conditions for its employees and ensures that the conduct is not harmful to any of its employees and the general community.
- Accidents cost time and money and create pain and misery. They are always caused by unsafe working conditions or unsafe practices. Accidents can and must be prevented by continuous education, perseverance and determination.
- Safety is an important aspect and an integral practice of our daily operations. Therefore, it should not be neglected or compromised for the sake of progress. Kinetics Arabia objectives can only be achieved with the joint and collective efforts of both management and employees.
- Each employee is hereby encouraged to contribute responsibly to the attainment of objectives of this policy. With adequate safety precautions taken, accidents, human sufferings, loss of time and damage to property and equipment can be avoided. Safety is everyone’s concern and its achievement requires everybody’s cooperation and commitment.
- We set HSE targets and goals annually to measure our performance, to achieve superior results and to continually improve.
- We provide education and training to our employees in order for them to have the knowledge, skills, and understanding to perform their responsibilities and duties at the highest level.
- We routinely review and verify performance using audits, evaluations and other quality assurance and quality control tools and methodologies.
